It is always nice to read that our customers are satisfied and are achieving good results. Nice article in ‘Bakkerswereld’ of August 2022 by Piroschka Voncken from Bakkerij Voncken about their webshop, realized by Compad Advertising Studio:
The website and webshop are extremely important to Bakery Voncken. According to Piroschka Voncken, ordering online has several advantages. “We have a better overview of the stock we need to produce and customers can be helped faster in the store. Moreover, the spending pattern is higher than in the store.”
During corona it became clear to Piroschka Voncken how incredibly valuable the webshop has. “The delivery was really a godsend then,” she recalls. “If customers had corona, they would indicate this neatly in the comments field with their order. So the driver could take this into account.’
The webshop also provided lighting in the store. “The shop girls were so incredibly busy. People were happy that the specialty shops were allowed to remain open and came to visit us en masse. The orders in the web shop relieved our sales staff somewhat and allowed them to quickly give customers their order.’ There were also people who viewed the web shop and then ordered in the store. “That also worked very positively. They knew exactly what they wanted. While we now often notice that customers only think about what they want to buy when it is their turn.”
Thirty years ago, Bakery Voncken was one of the first bakers with a website and webshop.
In the meantime, a lot has changed. “Our website and webshop look very different now. In the past, for example, all orders still had to be entered manually. Now we don’t have to do anything about it. Everything runs automatically, thanks to Compad in Hengelo. We are very satisfied with their service.”
